Discover Scuba - age 10 plus
For those beginners who are unsure about taking the Open Water Course. You will master basic concepts and scuba skills, and then it is off to an open water journey – up to 12 meters deep. Your Discover Scuba Diving experience counts toward your Open Water Diver certification.
Bubblemaker Course - age 8 plus
The Bubblemaker course is an introduction to the thrill of breathing underwater. If you're eight years or above of age, now is your chance to take the plunge with a PADI Instructor and go pool diving.
Scuba Review
A review of skills required for those who haven't dived within one year or those that would like a refresher.
Basic Scuba Diver Course or Junior Scuba Diver (Junior - 10 years plus and normal course - 15 years plus)
For those short of time, PADI Scuba Diver Course is a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Dive program. You will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing shallow water dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two open water dives. With the PADI Scuba Certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Dive Master, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or high professional on your next vacation or dive trip.
Basic Scuba Diver to Open Water Upgrade (Junior - 10 years plus and normal course - 15 years plus)
For those wanting to upgrade their Basic Scuba Diver Course to the full Open Water Course.
PADI Open Water and PADI Junior Open Water (Junior - 10 years plus and normal course - 15 years plus)
This course consists of classroom sessions and pool/confined water training under the supervision of a fully qualified diving instructor. This will be followed by a further four open water dives where students will be required to perform all the skills that they have learnt in confined water. Course duration is 4/5 days depending on the number of students.
PADI Open Water (Referral Course - 4 dives) (Junior - 10 years plus and normal course - 15 years plus)
This is your normal Open Water Course but split in two parts. The first part of the course can be taken in the UK locally with the remainder being completed whilst on holiday. You could take the course work in the UK with the confined water training, and open water dives to be taken on holiday.
Advanced Open Water Course - min. age 15
Junior Advanced Open Water Course - age 12 plus
It consists of a selection of five dives with the two core dives being deep dive and navigation dive. Students may choose anything from a wreck dive, night dive etc. to further their diving experience.
Rescue Diver Course - age 12 plus
The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you will learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.
PADI Divemaster
Minimum of 2 intensive weeks – approximately 15 dives. Students will serve as all assistant to an instructor a minimum of ten open water sessions. Theory and personal water skills are developed to leadership levels to help create the awareness needed to care for and to control the student and certified divers, both in water and top side. Professional membership with PADI is extra. |
